OUR PASTOR

Our Pastor is Larry Green, he is married to Carmia Green from Boling, Texas for 20 plus years and counting. Together in 2002, they started God’s Church of Restoration in Victoria, Texas.  It was back in 1978 while in the United States Army and stationed at Fort Riley Kansas, that a young man named Clay Jackson witnessed to him while standing in the chow line. Pastor Green became a member of Faith Tabernacle Church under District Presbyter L. E. Westberg, it was there that he was filled the Holy Ghost. Though Pastor Green is a 4th generation Pentecostal raised in the Pentecostal Assembly of the World, Pastor Green has always stated that though he was raised in Pentecost, Pentecost was not in him.

It took many years after receiving the Holy Ghost to let the Holy Ghost have him. Pastor Green stated that he has been in the wilderness, sometime, but learned, that God doesn’t waste time, and he doesn’t waste experiences. Pastor Green has attended Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas and graduated from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois with a Doctors Degree in Education. Today Pastor Green pastors God’s Church of Restoration and also Goliad Country Fellowship in Goliad, Texas.
